This is vision beyond the surface, truth sprayed in layers, a story built from color and conviction. In 2013, under the guidance of Chaka Mkali (I Self Devine), Hope Community & Waite House, a team of young artists aged 14-21 turned a wall into a window—a reflection of what they see, what they know, and what the world too often ignores.
Each artist painted an eye, not just as a symbol, but as a statement. In every pupil, a truth stares back—the weight of experience, the urgency of justice, the future they refuse to wait for. This is youth vision sharpened by reality, translated through spray paint and movement.
This isn't just self-expression—it’s precision, a calculated approach to storytelling where every line carries intention. Not a single mark is random, not a single color without cause. The city is the canvas, the aerosol becomes the language, and the message is clear: the eyes never lie.
No hesitation. No empty gestures. Just raw experience converted into art, demanding to be seen.
