Burlesque Print Portfolio
North Dakota Museum of ArtWe are excited to share that the North Dakota Museum of Art (NDMA) has acquired a specially curated portfolio of limited edition screen prints from Burlesque of North America as part of their permanent collection. This acquisition is a testament to the lasting impact of Burlesque’s work and the talented artists who have contributed to their legacy.
The collaboration between Joe Ellis Art and Burlesque of North America focuses on bringing under-recognized but highly influential artists to the forefront of institutional and private collections. Burlesque, with over 25 years of contributions to the Twin Cities art scene, has been a cornerstone for screen printing and graffiti art, blending midwest culture with fine art.
The portfolio acquired by NDMA included 26 signed, limited edition screen prints, featuring both local legends and international artists. Many of the prints are unique variants, making each collection personal and investment-worthy. The prints represent an important cross-section of Burlesque’s innovative history and collaborations, reflecting the rich culture of music, design, art, graffiti, and screen printing that has grown to international recognition.
We are proud to have NDMA join the growing list of institutions and collectors who recognize the importance of preserving and showcasing the dynamic work coming from Burlesque of North America. If you’re interested in learning more about the portfolios or adding one to your own collection, feel free to contact me for more details.
